Families Protest in Columbus 9/12/2020 for Visiting!
Families are getting more and more frustrated that cold weather and winter is fast approaching and there has been no plan for inside visits. Although some facilities have done a great job helping families visit outside, still too many, are not. The ones that are not do not seem to have the staffing to make these visits possible and reasonable. With many struggling to visit outside, it leaves them to believe the effort for meaningful and reasonable visits indoors will be a bigger challenge, if it happens at all.
Families do not understand how their loved one can be left unprotected. If their loved ones have an issue with the facility and they complain, who is there to protect them? The facility?
