There Should be NO ADDITIONAL Quarantines for Residents That Have COVID Within 3 Months

If your loved one in long-term care has had COVID within the last three months, they should not be quarantined unless they show symptoms. We are hearing that every time there is a positive COVID Resident, they quarantine all even if they had it within the last three months.

Residents having COVID within the previous three months should not be denied visits with their families. They are the ones that should be safe to kiss or hug their families.

Hope this clarifies this issue for you. Here is the guideline from CDC that came out August 16, 2020
