Neglect is a Huge Problem that is Being Ignored! We all Need to Wake Up!
We have done a poor job protecting those in long-term care from COVID, we can easily see that by the number of deaths. Let’s just agree for the bigger picture that covid is hard to control. But, what about neglect? We can’t stop that?? We call this unintentional neglect by healthcare workers. They are so short on staff, they don’t have a chance to give the care they want to give. We agree policymakers and the public need to wake up. This is the cruelest care many elderly are receiving in long-term. We need to help them! We don’t have to allow them to suffer and struggle. We have the power to stop this, if we care.
