Be a Voice for Those in Long-Term Care!

We are going to the State Capitol on Saturday, September 12th so many have an opportunity to show up and say this is where the buck stops, with our General Assembly and Governor this is the place something can be done to provide the residents and families the much needed help they are in desperate need of . This is who can and should do something to stop the elderly in nursing homes having their right to access their ESSENTIAL FAMILY CAREGIVER/LIFELINE inside the facility. YOUR SENATORS, AND GOVERNOR NEED TO ADDRESS THESE ISSUES THAT IN SEVEN MONTHS HAVE FAILED TO SHOW A PLAN FOR LONG-TERM CARE. Winter will not make visiting easier or likely continue outside visits.

They work hard to pass an immunity law to protect nursing homes from being accountable or consequences for neglect, however, what have they done to protect the residents? Something is very wrong here.

Show up and support the residents and families whether you have someone in long-term care or not! For those that lost someone that should not have in the crisis, bring a sign with the picture on it and put in Memory of
