This is very telling. The facilities don’t want transparency to see where their money goes. They constantly complain they don’t have enough money. Yes, they have it for what is important to them. Not to mention they got money sent to them during covid, they raised prices in many Assisted Living Facilities Then the nursing homes got a bigger check from the residents when Social Security’s cost of living was increased to 8.7%. Now they get money from the state, and directly from facilities. No wonder the facilities don’t want to be transparent in how much they get and what they do with it. And yet, our disabled elders get poor care too many times.
